Tell about yourself a little bit... How did you become a photographer?
I used to love looking at photos and remembering the moment. It all started with a very simple point and shoot camera. I brought it with me everywhere because I loved
simply capturing the moments and I couldn't wait to see the pictures.
And then I kept doing it, bringing my camera with me on every trip and just taking photos. Then everything happened step by step, I bought new cameras, tried new things,
and then after a while I shared my photos on social media.
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned as a photographer?
The biggest lesson that I have learned as a photographer is to not let others opinions of your work inuence you too much. I often struggled with accepting criticism from
others. Although constructive feedback can be very helpful, I found it difcult to accept.
It is important to let go of any negative feedback and not let it inuence your work. It is important to be open to criticism, but at the end of the day it is important to
photograph what you like and what makes you happy. Stay true to your personal style. Don't forget to bring your camera.
What advice would you give to a young amateur photographer, who wants to take their photography to the next level?
I would tell them to carry on as before. Learn the basics of photography, including exposure, composition, lighting, and camera settings. Understanding these fundamentals
is essential for creating great images. I personally learned these essentials by watching YouTube videos. The more you practice, the better you'll become. Take your camera
with you everywhere and make photography a daily habit. Experiment with different subjects and styles. After a while the inspiration and ideas are will come naturally. Never
let social media platforms take away your condence. Let it inspire you to create and learn more. Believe in yourself and believe in your goals. You can achieve anything if you
want to.
In your opinion... What is a good photograph?
In my opinion, a good photographer is one that can convey the moments they captures exactly as he experienced them. While still enjoying the moments to the fullest.
A good photograph is one that makes the audience feel something. Most importantly, it is one that makes you happy. One that brings the energy and vibe captured in that
moment.
How do you feel about social media today? Is it good for photographers, bad for photographers...?
I think social media is a great tool to share your work and make connections with other photographers and people in the industry. Social media can also help with cultivating
ideas and inspiration. A great takeaway from social media is the support from the photographer community where others can guide you and discuss about different
ideas.Social media can become negative when you are constantly comparing your work to others. While the inuence of other creatives can be a positive experience, it can
be difcult to stay true to your style.
